My comic to be featured in NexGen Pulp

Hey guys, I've struck a deal with NexGen Pulp. In the June/July 2008 issue of the magazine, two pages of my graphic novel "The Exhibit" will be featured.
The storyline will continue along in future issues. This is my unadulterated black and white heavy stuff. The storyline is about a girl named Sandra who has been imprisoned in the alternate dimension of Burnia, where an exiled demon named Sir Xadian appears to save her. Thats all I'm telling you, you'll have to buy the magazine and start following the story to learn whats below the surface... and let me tell you, frightening things lay below the surface.

Hey guys, I'm about to teach my 6th day of cartooning, so I'm gonna make this quick.
I'm talking to Rob Cole of Studio 18. We had a nice discussion over my portfolio and resume yesterday afternoon. Heres the deal. He's checking my references. When he gives me approval I'll have my own room in this studio as a independent contract art instructor. Thats going to be full time and be serious money. Not to mention the place is based on music students and will have a full blown studio made with the guy who helped David Letterman back in '93. Anyway, I'll be teaching one on one DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION lessons to people of all ages. And I may get a lot of commission work here.
So. I'll be quitting Kangaroo Express.
I'll be continuing classes at the Mooresville Artist's Guild.
I'll be doing special classes on Saturday nights at Luigi's Diner.

1. I randomly went to dead bar on a Sunday, angry, listening to a biblical study of how God is in control, causes people to come into your life, and calls all the shots. When I was about to leave a dude in biker jacket like mine, wearing a beat-up Misfits t-shirt asked me to play pool with him. Come to find out he is a 32 year old professional artist for NASCAR. We exchanged portfolios and tips, and plan to hang out again. Did I mention I hate bars?
2. Day 4 of my cartooning class was a smash! I taught the greatest class ever, drew better than ever (with new techniques learned from above), and had the awesome work packets. It was more than fun and with even more of a professional attitude. Thats normally what you'd expect from me right? No, today a lady from the Statesville Newspaper randomly came in and took pictures, asked us all questions. She seemed to be impressed. Now we're going to be in tomorrow's Sunday Statesville paper. This will be all over Iredell County. Rocking and stocking? I'm afraid so.
3. On the way home I met a pro wrestler. He actually tours different countries and listens to 80's Metal. He rocks and stocks too.
There is too much coincidence in my life for me to say there isn't somebody out there helping me. Prayers are once again answered.
4. I want to thank all the fans who support me on working on the new Beyond Fear CD. I'll be dropping by the forums soon enough to give you guys some new wallpapers. The emails and posts are kinder than I ever expected. Lets keep the faith!

I'm artist of the month at the Mooresville Artist Guild.

I have a new digital camera which will boost my mixed media.
I talked with Tim, and I got to listen to some of the new Beyond Fear in its demo stages. With song titles and a little bit of ground to walk on I am working the next cover until Mr. Owens informs me otherwise. Nothing solid yet.
I remixed the Beyond Fear logo for a PGA Golf Bag.
I'm also helping Tim with a private project.
No news on working with Winters Bane yet.
My networking friends and I are storming the halls this year. I may be getting networked into a Web Design job. Nothing to hold breathe on yet, but lets keep the faith. This job would be a massive jump. I am also in the pursuit of a new agent. It was cool having the ex-Avatar/Savatage bassist, but its time for somebody new.
I'm still working with Spinner Publications, gotta get that nailed by this month.
Everything is still pushin'. Day 4 of my class is on the 12th.
Ed injured his hand at work, so nothing on Ghost of Freedom just yet.
I do have new lyric stands.
My pet rabbit is pwnage.
